Subscription Terms for Unbound Obsessions

1. Founding vs. Regular Pricing

Founding Members who subscribe during the first 90 days of the founding campaign, or until the physical store opens, whichever comes first, receive founding rates while their subscription remains active.

• The Devoted Reader: $5/month founding rate
• Morally Gray Society: $15/month founding rate
• Obsession Patron: $40/month founding rate

After the founding phase ends, new subscribers will pay regular rates. If a founding subscription is canceled, founding pricing and founding-member benefits end at the close of the current billing cycle.

2. Billing & Payment

The base subscription is billed monthly on the same day each month and continues until canceled. Any quarterly box add-on is billed separately every three months.

Payments are processed securely through Shopify Payments or another approved payment processor.

3. Subscription Tiers & Perks

One-time onboarding perks are shipped within 30 days of activation and are non-refundable.

4. Discount Terms

Merch discounts apply only to active subscribers and to merchandise only. Discounts do not apply to books, event tickets, wine service, quarterly box add-ons, shipping, taxes, or other non-merch purchases. Discounts cannot be combined with other promotions or coupon codes.

5. Wall of Obsessions

The Wall of Obsessions is a prestige benefit reserved for founding members. Digital listings are available to founding Bronze members, while founding Silver and Gold members may also receive in-store recognition. Non-founding members will not be added to the Wall of Obsessions.

If a founding subscription is canceled, the customer loses founding rights and Wall of Obsessions status at the end of the current billing cycle.

6. Cancellation & Refunds

You may cancel your subscription at any time. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing cycle. No refunds are issued for partial months.

• No refunds for shipped onboarding perks.
• Quarterly box add-ons are non-refundable once shipped.
• Unused monthly subscription time is not refundable.

7. Resubscription Rules

If you cancel and later resubscribe, founding rights, founding pricing, and Wall of Obsessions status are not restored unless Unbound Obsessions confirms otherwise in writing. Subscribers who join after the founding phase ends will pay regular rates.

8. Quarterly Box Add-On

Quarterly box add-ons contain curated themed merch and ship within 15 days of the quarterly billing date. Shipping is included in the box add-on price within the continental United States. If a box arrives damaged or is lost in transit, contact us within 7 days with supporting details so we can review the issue.

Please note: Packages may come separate. Items within a quarterly box may ship individually depending on fulfillment and availability.

9. Community Guidelines

Unbound Obsessions is a judgment-free, inclusive space for romance readers. Members must be respectful, avoid harassment or discrimination, and keep discussions focused on books, reading, and community.

Hate speech, spam, piracy, or explicit content outside designated channels may result in removal from the community without refund.

10. Email Communications & Unsubscribe

By subscribing, you agree to receive marketing emails about newsletters, launches, events, and special offers. You may unsubscribe at any time using the link in any email or by contacting [email protected].

11. Data Privacy

We collect the information needed to process subscriptions, manage orders, send updates, and comply with legal obligations. Payment information is handled securely through our payment processor, and we do not sell, rent, or share your personal information for third-party marketing.
